Payment Terms

Payment will be due as follows: 50% non-refundable deposit before work begins and the remaining 50% when work is approved.
Final files will not be sent until full payment is made.
Failure to pay will mean termination of agreement and the project
Should the Client wish to use the artwork for commercial purposes beyond standard use, including the production of Print-On-Demand merchandise or for the purpose of book cover artwork, a separate commercial licensing fee will apply.

The Illustrator retains full ownership and copyright of the artwork unless otherwise agreed upon with an additional transfer fee.
The Client will be sent an agreement that outlines the full usage rights they hold.

Booking are conducted in 2 week periods.
The Client will be given a timeline and rough idea of when to expect each phase. Revisions are conducted per phase of the product. The Client is given 24-hours for feedback and approval to move onto the next phrase.
All final artwork files will be delivered to the Client via Dropbox, with download links provided upon completion. The Client will have 90 days to save all files before they are deleted.

Either party may terminate this contract at any time with written notice, provided that any work completed up to the termination date will be paid for at the agreed rate. Any advance payments are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed.
The Client must give at least 2-weeks notice before their booking to enable the booking to be covered.
The Illustrator can terminate the agreement of services if the Client is seen to be disrespectful, unethical or causes harm to the Illustrator’s business.
Use of any unagreed third-party alterations may result in termination of the project. This includes, but is not limited to, use of social media groups, other artists/authors/designers/etc, or any other person beyond the Illustrator or Client.
Termination of this contract does not allow use of artwork in any form or a refund of the non-refundable deposit.
